Ping Bay is located in Xiuyu District of Putian City, the surrounding scenery is picturesque, the wind and waves in the bay are slightly flat, here is very suitable for yachts to drive and moor. Here, ALLEGRO Yachts officially set up the new ALLEGRO site. This will open a new chapter for ALLEGRO yachts to enter the domestic market.
In the past, ALLEGRO has focused on "taking" yachts abroad. According to the chairman, ALLEGRO has exported nearly 100 yachts so far. In the most recent European Professional Yacht of the Year competition, a 58-foot ALLEGRO yacht was nominated for the European 2012 Award of the Year, out of only five finalists worldwide. A few years ago, the financial crisis broke out, the European and American markets have been in a continuous downturn, and many foreign manufacturers began to covet China's big cake.
Chairman Liu Xingdong told The Times reporter that in recent years, China's yacht market has been unanimously optimistic about the global industry. China's yacht is still in its infancy, and first-tier cities such as Qingdao, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing have developed well. At present, only Xiamen has a better atmosphere in Fujian province, and Wuyuan Bay is developing steadily, while Fuzhou is slightly inferior.
In the chairman's view, what Fuzhou lacks is not consumer purchasing power, but inadequate infrastructure. He said that yacht parking needs special berths, reasonably designed floating Bridges and other facilities and equipment, to meet the water, electricity, sewage and fuel supply, equipped with professionals to provide maintenance and repair services, in order to give the yacht a safe and reliable parking space.
As the top manager of the company, he is very happy to see the development of yacht culture, and hopes that this lifestyle will be more popular, while enhancing the visibility of the location, building a yacht city in China, and making ALLEGRO grow into one of the best yacht enterprises in China.
At the beginning of the previous year, the company's senior management team locked the domestic market with keen insight and adopted high-quality products and services, when a number of domestic yacht consumer groups were rising rapidly.
Chairman Liu Xingdong said ALLEGRO's domestic orders have been increasing, and the 75-foot yacht currently under production could be officially launched in the middle of next year. 'Many foreign manufacturers want to enter China and put their production bases in China to be closer to the Chinese market,' he said. They found the company to talk about cooperation, but ALLEGRO's current production site is small, the maximum can only build 75 feet of yachts, and customer orders have 100 feet, the production scale is obviously limited to ALLEGRO's hard damage. He told The Times reporter that the new site covers an area of 100 acres and can realize the production of more large yacht orders. The new site will be implemented in two phases, with the ALLEGRO plant expected to move next year.
When it comes to the industrial blueprint of ALLEGRO's new site, the chairman of the board is full of enthusiasm: This land is close to the beautiful Ping Bay, and a tourism company will be established here in the future, considering the development of industrial tourism and other projects. After moving to the new site, we can immediately cooperate with a European professional organization to establish the largest domestic research and development center for yacht-related products, and strive for cooperation with more European and American manufacturers. Cooperate with colleges and universities to design a yacht professional course, consider introducing Italy's yacht college model to China, and strive to cultivate more yacht talents who are in short supply in China.
Top management is obsessed with quality:
Mr. Liu, wearing glasses, smiled and was humble and calm as he spoke to Times reporters.
The office building at the ALLEGRO site he took The Times reporter on a tour was slightly older, but the folding seats and door panels for the restrooms were unique in their exquisite materials and workmanship. The chairman of the board took the initiative to introduce that these are made of teak for the deck of the yacht, but because the texture of these teak materials is obvious, the color is not uniform enough to be eliminated for him. This also made The Times reporter feel that the company's senior management of the yacht manufacturing has reached a serious degree.
Excellent quality has always made the chairman proud, which is also the secret weapon of ALLEGRO yachts based on the European market. He laughs that Europeans pursue details like Shanghai people, if the manufacture of yachts does not pay attention to the quality of details, it will be picky and returned, which means big losses.
For this reason, ALLEGRO insisted on using European engineers to check the quality of its yachts in recent years. He said that he and the employees of the factory are the people who build yachts, and the engineers from Europe have decades of experience with yachts, they are the only people who can play yachts, and only such people can carry out reasonable design in the limited space inside the yacht.
Chairman said: "Europe and the United States and other countries have a history of designing and manufacturing yachts hundreds of years earlier than us, which can be described as rich experience. Only high quality can be displayed at the large yacht show in Dusseldorf, Germany and Cannes, France. Even compared with the products of France and Italy, ALLEGRO yachts are not inferior.
